Company and industry veteran will lead day-to-day operations

CHINO, California – (August 5, 2014) – Imperial Rubber Products, which manufactures and reconditions rollers for industrial converters, manufacturers and commercial printers, today announced the promotion of Bob Schwartz to President of the Company.

Mr. Schwartz has over thirty years of experience in the roller and capital equipment industries. In recent years he has led all of the company’s customer-facing activities including Sales, Marketing and Customer Service. In this expanded role, he will also have responsibility for all Engineering and Production activities.

Ron Hill, the company’s Chief Executive Officer, explained that “this announcement is really just recognition of the job that Bob has been doing superbly for quite some time. As the leader of our customer relationships, Bob has long led the coordination of multiple departments inside our company to make sure we deliver what customers need. This promotion recognizes his track-record of accomplishment and is intended to signal to others the authority within our company that he brings to the table."

Mr. Hill added that the impact of this change on his role at the company going forward is that, “Bob will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our company, reporting to me. I will still be here full-time, continuing to work with customers, suppliers, and partners. That won’t change, though I do expect to be able to put more time into some strategic and long-term projects, knowing that Bob has the day-to-day operations covered."

Bob Schwartz joined Imperial Rubber Products, Inc. in October 2001.

Mr. Hill commented that “Bob has a tremendous range of industry expertise and contacts that he brings to our company and to our customers. He is a recognized expert relied on by our customers nationwide for process improvement in their operations as coaters, laminators and converters. For many years he has had a very positive impact on the profitable growth of our business, and our ability to increase the range of services we deliver to our customers.”

Mr. Schwartz stated, “I’m very appreciative of this recognition and look forward to continuing to work with the excellent people here as we further grow our team, our capabilities, and our ability to do more for our customers.”
